When to go
Perth

Perth is at its best in spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May), outside of the rainy winter and the scorching summer. But with more than 300 days of sunshine each year, there's never really a bad time to visit. If you're heading to Australia to escape winter back home, keep in mind that the Southern Hemisphere summer will be in full force and temperatures can exceed 40 degrees Celsius. There are some advantages to visiting in summer however, such as catching cultural events like the Perth Festival and Swan Valley Midsummer Feast in February, as well as the New Year’s celebration. Just be sure to wear plenty of sun cream and to cover up whenever you head outdoors.
