Yogyakarta
After checking into your Yogyakarta hotel, you’ll head to Purawisata for dinner followed by a Ramayana Dance Performance. The next day, you’ll set off on a 'Jogja City Tour & Borobudur Temple Tour' with your guide, which includes a visit to Borobudur, the largest single Buddhist monument in the Southern Hemisphere. Here you can climb the steps, and spot the 1640 relief panels and 504 Buddha effigies within the complex.

Afterwards, spend the rest of the day in Surakarta, where you’ll call in at the Mangkunegaran Palace before checking in to your hotel for the night.

Bromo
On arrival, you’ll be free to refresh and relax after the journey and get a good night’s sleep ready for your early start. The next day, wake up at 3am and set off for the climb up Mount Bromo. After driving to Cemara Lawang village, you’ll ride a pony up the slopes of Mount Tregger, then cross a sea of sand before climbing 245 steps to the crater rim, arriving just in time for sunrise. Spend the night in Banyuwangi.

Ubud
It’s a 90-minute hike to the rim, found at an altitude of 2,380m, and you’ll be treated to spectacular views of the bright blue steaming lake surrounded by deposits of bright yellow sulphur. Later, take the ferry to Bali, where you’ll say goodbye to your guide and check into your Ubud hotel. Ubud is the cultural capital of Indonesia, so immerse yourself in the temples, spas galleries and architecture of this beautiful town.

Labuan Bajo
The next day, depart early for the 4-hour crossing to Komodo Island, where you’ll be met by a ranger who will take you on a walk in search of the Komodo dragon. Afterwards, head to Pink Beach to snorkel in the clear blue waters, before a trip to Rinca Island for another trek through the savanna in search of the Komodo dragon. Return to Labuan Bajo for the night.

Senggigi
Explore the sweeping coves and lush hills of Senggigi, backed by up by lush jungle-carpeted mountains and a fringe of coconut trees. Apart from the obvious beach lounging, there’s plenty to keep you occupied, including sailing, surfing and sea kayaking on the warm waters. Inland too, forest treks, cookery classes and traditional massages are popular choices. When not lounging on the soft sands, you’ll set off on a day trip to the mountain village of Sembalu, gateway to Mount Rinjani volcano.
