Get your skis on and hit the powder in Mt Norquay, Sunshine Mountain and Lake Louise, all included in your ski pass. If skiing’s not for you, perhaps try tubing in Lake Louise or ride the Banff Gondola for fabulous mountain views. Finish the day with a sleigh ride or ice skating in Lake Louise, where you can admire the ice sculptures (in season).

Enjoy a morning dog sled ride in Lake Louise along the Continental Divide and feel the exuberance emanating from the dogs, many of which are rescued. Later, follow the spectacular Icefields Parkway to Jasper, no doubt making copious photo stops along the way. Once in Jasper you’ll spend two days ice climbing, ice walking, ice caving, and snowshoeing to your heart’s content. Or, if you’d prefer to take it easy, spend some time admiring the spectacular night sky or stop for a drink in the cosy Jasper Brew Pub.
