Check into your cabin. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Split. Marvel at the incredible Diocletian Palace.
Board the ship and cruise to Brac, where you’ll swim at the famous Zlatni Beach. Continue to Hvar and enjoy lunch onboard at the Pakleni Islands. Head out into Hvar and explore the town’s historical landmarks, before hiking up to the fort for the best views of the island. The following day, you’ll cruise onto the small island of Bisevo to visit the famous Blue Cave. Afterwards, go wine tasting in Vis, home to a host of traditional wineries. You’ll also have time to explore this island under your own steam; perhaps take in the City Museum, or stroll along the waterfront.
The next morning, you’ll continue further south to the island of Mljet. Join the cruise manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes at Mljet National Park and enjoy a boat ride to the St Mary Isle, where you’ll explore an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a church dating back to the 12th Century. Looking for a more active pace? Rent kayaks or bikes. Or simply explore at your own pace.
Hop back in the car and make your way to La Rioja, which produces some of the best red wine in the country. Visit the hamlet of San Millan, situated deep in the green valley, where you’ll find two UNESCO-listed monasteries. Head to the small village of Briones for the best views over the vineyards, and explore the Bodego Ysios winery. There are plenty of unique dining opportunities to try here - perhaps enjoy pinxto inside a house built into the cave at Bodega la Petra, or dine in a 17-th century vaulted cellar at Los Calaos de Briones.
Today, you’ll cruise to Dubrovnik, enjoying lunch on deck as the boat makes its way past the magnificent old city walls. In the afternoon, you’ll be taken on a guided walking tour, before a trip on the cable car to Srd Mountain. From here, you can enjoy jaw-dropping views of the walls and the Elaphiti Islands, before spending a few days exploring under your own steam.
After a farewell breakfast, check out of your cabin and spend two more nights in Dubrovnik.
