Keep an eye out for the desert elephants that inhabit the area. Namibia’s desert-adapted elephants are taller than their Etosha counterparts and specially adapted to the dry desert conditions. Even if you don’t spot an elephant, you’ll be sure to marvel at the rugged mountains and russet-hued sands that make this region so unusual.
