This is a fantastic budget trip that encompasses South America and Australia.
Your journey starts in the vibrant Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro where you can visit Sugar Loaf Mountain followed by a Caipirinha on either the famous Cococabana or Ipanema Beach watching salsa dancers! You can then join a tour which will take you from Rio de Janeiro along the coastline visiting the beach side resort of Florianopolis before heading inland to visit the famous Iguassu Falls.
Your journey will then head south into Argentina through the winelands and whale watching resorts before arriving into Buenos Aires. Be sure to sample a steak and salsa! Santiago will be your final destination and for those adventurous types you could head south and visit Antarctica.
Auckland will be your next stop to visit the Northland and Bay of Islands and if you're feeling adventurous take a trip to Lake Taupo and Tongariro National Park for some adrenaline activities! Then onto Christchurch which is a great base for exploration in the Southern Island including the Mount Cook and the Fox Glacier as well as the famed Milford Sounds. A short flight to Cairns will be your gateway to Queensland and you can take a trip up to Cape Tribulation and visit the tropical rainforest. The next part you can travel independently by hiring a car or joining a tour and travel down the East coast of Australia passing by the Great Barrier Reef, Brisbane, Surfers Paradise, Byron Bay before reaching the city of Sydney.
Your final destination is Mumbai in India where you can tantalise your tastebuds and senses before heading home to London.

Rio de Janeiro – 5 days
