Itinerary
Day 1 Quito - Arrive at any time.
Days 2-3 Tena/Whitewater Rafting (1B,1L) - Travel by bus into the Amazon Basin at Tena. Included full day whitewater rafting excursion on the Jatunyaku river before returning to Tena for the night.
Day 4 Ba_os - Travel by bus to Ba_os. Free afternoon for optional activities like biking or visiting local waterfalls, or explore the town on foot.
Days 5-6 Trekking in Sangay National Park (1B,1L,1D) - Transfer to the start point of the trek and walk into Sangay National Park, home to Tunguragua Volcano. Following a night camping, continue to the volcano's hiker refuge before returning to Ba_os in the evening. Optional visit to the local hot springs.
Day 7 Ba_os / Lasso - Free morning in Ba_os for optional activities like horseback riding, biking or another visit to the hot springs. Travel by bus from Ba_os to the town of Lasso, near Cotopaxi Volcano.
Day 8 Biking Cotopaxi / Quito (L) - Morning downhill biking excursion on Cotopaxi Volcano. Return to Quito in the evening.
Day 9 Quito (B) - Depart at any time.
