Itinerary
Day 1 Las Vegas - Arrive at any time. Welcome meeting in the evening.
Day 2 Las Vegas/Death Valley NP/Bishop (L,D) - Enjoy a guided tour of the Strip. Visit the desolate Death Valley the hottest, driest and lowest spot in North America then continue on to the mountain town of Bishop. Stargaze in secluded hot springs.
Day 3 Bishop/Yosemite NP (B,L,D) - Travel to Mono Lake and walk among the tufa rock towers. Take the spectacular Tioga Pass to Yosemite National Park and its trails amongst giant sequoias.
Day 4 Yosemite NP (B,L,D) - Take a day and hike the trails or rent a bike and get rolling.
Day 5 Yosemite/San Francisco (B,L) - Travel to San Francisco and enjoy a guided city tour. Discover Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, take an optional cable-car ride, rent a bicycle or consider an optional sunset sail.
Day 6 San Francisco/San Simeon (L,D) - Travel down California's scenic coast highway. Visit historic Monterey, marvel at the mountains around Big Sur and at a seaside waterfall in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park.
Day 7 San Simeon/Los Angeles (B) - Continue down the coast. Visit San Luis Obispo, the Madonna Inn and relax on the beach in Santa Barbara. Arrive in Los Angeles with time for a guided city tour and enjoy a night on the town.
Day 8 Los Angeles - Depart at any time.
