Day 1 San Francisco - Arrive at any time. Welcome meeting.
Day 2 Big Sur (L,D) - Enjoy a guided city tour. Drive to Monterey and take an optional visit to the aquarium or go kayaking. Head to Big Sur.
Day 3 Cachuma Lake (B,L,D) - Visit Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. See Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo and the Madonna Inn. Savour Danish specialties in Solvang. Enjoy a campfire at Cachuma Lake.
Day 4 Los Angeles (B) - Relax on the beach in Santa Barbara. Continue on to Los Angeles and a guided city tour.
Day 5 San Diego (L,D) - Visit the beach or take an optional trip to Universal Studios. Drive along the coast to San Diego.
Day 6 San Diego (B, D) - Take a city tour. Enjoy optional excursions to Sea World, the zoo, or take surf lessons on Mission Beach.
Day 7 Phoenix (B,L) - Travel to the Imperial Sand Dunes, then continue on to Phoenix. Visit a real cowboy bar.
Day 8 Grand Canyon NP (L,D) - Visit Montezuma Castle's cliff dwellings on the way to Oak Creek Canyon. Cool off at Slide Rock State Park before reaching the Grand Canyon in time for dinner at the rim.
Day 9 Grand Canyon NP (B,L,D) - Hike the trails or take an optional helicopter flight. Enjoy a campfire BBQ.
Day 10 Lake Powell (B,L,D) - Travel to Lake Powell's red cliffs. Hike around the Glen Canyon Dam. Take an optional tour of Antelope Canyon, go horseback riding or go to the beach.
Day 11 Monument Valley (B,L) - Learn about Navajo culture at Monument Valley. Take an optional, Navajo-led jeep tour. Enjoy a traditional Navajo meal.
Day 12 Moab (B,L,D) - Visit Goosenecks State Park then travel to Canyonlands for exceptional hiking. Enjoy the sunset at Dead Horse Point before reaching Moab.
Day 13 Moab (B) - Visit the rock formations of Arches National Park. Explore Moab or try optional rafting, mountain biking, or ATV and Hummer tours.
Day 14 Bryce Canyon NP (B,L) - Drive along isolated Scenic Byway 12. Learn about the Fremont culture and view petroglyphs at Capitol Reef National Park. Continue to Bryce Canyon. Take in an optional rodeo.
Day 15 Las Vegas (B,L) - Hike at Zion National Park. Continue to Las Vegas for a guided city tour. Indulge in an optional limousine tour.
Day 16 Las Vegas - Full day to explore Las Vegas.
Day 17 Death Valley NP/Bishop (L,D) - Visit desolate Death Valley. Enjoy secluded hot springs.
Day 18 Yosemite NP (B,L,D) - Marvel at tufa rock towers at Mono Lake. Drive the stunning Tioga Pass to Yosemite. Hike amongst the giant sequoias.
Day 19 Yosemite NP (B,L,D) - Enjoy a full day exploring Yosemite. Hike or rent a bicycle.
Day 20 Petaluma (B,L,D) - Journey to the Napa Valley. Savour local wines with lunch. Take an optional canoeing trip on the Russian River.
Day 21 San Francisco (B) - Enjoy a guided tour of San Francisco. Rent a bike, take an optional cable-car ride or sunset cruise.
Day 22 San Francisco - Depart at any time.
