Itinerary
Day 1 Los Angeles - Arrive at any time. Welcome meeting in the evening.
Day 2 Joshua Tree NP/ Lake Havasu (L,D) - Guided city tour. Head to Joshua Tree National Park for some hiking, then cool off in the Colorado River at Lake Havasu.
Day 3 Grand Canyon NP (B,L,D) - Head to the Grand Canyon. Enjoy some hiking and a sunset dinner at the edge of the gorge.
Day 4 Las Vegas (B,L) - Consider an optional helicopter flight over the canyon. Drive Route 66 stop at an off-beat burger joint. Arrive in Las Vegas in time for a guided tour. Take an optional limousine tour.
Day 5 Death Valley NP/Bishop (D) - Visit legendary Death Valley. Enjoy secluded hot springs.
Day 6 Yosemite NP (B,L,D) - Drive the stunning Tioga Pass to Yosemite National Park. Hike past waterfalls and amongst giant sequoias, or rent a bike and explore.
Day 7 San Francisco (B,L) - Drive to San Francisco and enjoy a city tour. Take an optional cable car ride, rent bikes or indulge in sunset sailing.
Day 8 San Francisco - Full day to explore the city.
Day 9 Mendocino (L,D) - Drive along the stunning coast to Mendocino. Walk along the beach, then enjoy S'mores the classic American campfire dessert.
Day 10 Redwood SP (B,L,D) - At Redwood State Park, walk amid giant redwoods.
Day 11 Oregon Dunes (B,L,D) - Take in panoramic views along the Oregon Coast. Visit historic fishing villages and lumber towns. There's also time for optional dune buggy rides.
Day 12 Silver Falls SP (B,L,D) - Travel to Silver Falls State Park. Hike the Ten Falls trail and discover secret paths behind waterfalls.
Day 13 Mt Rainier NP (B,L,D) - Pass through Portland on the way to Mount St. Helens.
Day 14 Mt Rainer (B,D) - It's a day to explore Mount Rainier. Enjoy a campfire BBQ.
Day 15 Seattle (B) - Journey to Seattle in time for a city tour. Take an optional ride up the Space Needle.
Day 16 Seattle - Depart at any time.
