Itinerary
Day 1 Quito - Arrive at any time.
Day 2 Baltra / Santa Cruz (B,L,D) - Fly to Baltra in the Galapagos Islands and transfer to the boat. Afternoon excursion to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz for a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station to see the giant Galapagos toroises.
Day 3 Genovesa (B,L,D) - Land at Genovesa Island, an old imploded volcano, to observe the massive colonies of Frigate Birds, Boobies and other seabirds as well as striking volcanic cliffs rising from the ocean.
Day 4 Isla Santiago (B,L,D) - Morning excursion to Playa Espumilla, one of the most idyllic beaches in the Galapagos islands, with thick mangroves along with flamingo and sea turtle nesting sites. Continue to Buccaneer Cove to witness the towering cliff wall rock formations before going to Puerto Egas to see the salt crater as well as a dark sand beach and tidal pools.
Day 5 Chinese Hat / Cerro Dragãn (B,L,D) - Visit to Chinese Hat for snorkelling opportunities and to observe the birds and sea lions before taking an excursion to Cerro Dragãn on the west coast of Santa Cruz Island, to see land iguanas and a salt water lagoon frequented by flamingoes and other species of birds.
Day 6 Garrapatero Beach / Baltra / Quito (B) - Morning excursion to Garrapatero beach before disembarking at Puerto Ayora. Transfer across the island to Baltra and fly back to Quito.
Day 7 Quito (B) - Depart at any time.
