Itinerary

Day 1 Zanzibar - Arrive at any time.

Day 2-4 Zanzibar (3B) - Explore Stone Town, guided tour of a spice plantation. Option to visit museums, historical sites, markets, and enjoy the beach and marine activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming.

Day 5-6 Dar es Salaam/Iringa (2B,2L,2D) - Travel into the Great Rift Valley, view vast tea plantations, and through spectacular scenery.

Day 7-9 Lake Malawi (3B,3L,3D) - Relax on the shores of "the lake of stars", visit various lakeside camps. Options to go for walks, snorkeling, village tours, fishing trip.

Day 10-12 Lilongwe/Chipata/Lusaka (3B,3L,3D) - Visit the local market in Chipata, a frontier town near the Malawian border. Camp on a private game farm just outside Lusaka.

Day 13-16 Livingstone (4B,L) - Options to visit Victoria Falls, and enjoy white-water rafting, canoeing, elephant-back safari, fly over the falls, and much more!

Day 17-18 Chobe River/Gweta (2B,2L,2D) - Option to embark on a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River or game drive in open safari vehicle in Chobe National Park. Camp under acient baobab trees, optional visit to the salt pans of Makgadikgadi.

Day 19-21 Maun/Okavango Delta (3B,3L,3D) - Enjoy game walks, traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions, birding. Learn the ways of the bush from your local polers on your 2 nights bushcamping.

Day 22 Ghanzi (B,L,D) - Visit the Kalahari desert, meet the local San Bushmen. Optional walk to learn survival skills by the locals.

Day 23-24 Windhoek/Waterberg Plateau Game Park (2B,2L,D) - Explore the city centre of Windhoek. Scenic walk in Waterberg Plateau Game Park.

Day 25-27 Etosha National Park/Damaraland (3B,3L,3D) - Game drives in own vehicle.

Day 28-29 Swakopmund (B,L) - Explore Swakopmunds's historical town. Choose among sand boarding, a dolphin cruise, sky diving, quad biking, a Living Desert tour or much more as optional activities!

Day 30-33 Namib Desert/Fish River Canyon/Gariep River (4B,4L,4D) - Explore Sossusvlei Dunes, option to climb its breathtaking Dune 45. Enjoy the sunset at Fish River Canyon. Option to ride a canoe at the scenic Gariep River.

Day 34 Cape Town (B,L) - Explore vibrant Cape Town by night.
