Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi to Arusha (L,D) - Depart early to cross through the semi-arid lands of the Masai people into Tanzania. (Please be sure to book a flight that arrives into Nairobi no later than 5am on this day.)

Day 2-4 Serengeti National Park / Ngorongoro Crater / Arusha (3B,3L,3D) - Change over to 4x4 safari vehicles, Daily Game drives.

Day 5-9 Dar Es Salaam/Zanzibar (5B,L,D) - Travel down to the Indian Ocean. Explore Stone Town, visit Arab residences and palaces, guided tour of a spice plantation. Option to visit museums, historic sites, go snorkeling and scuba diving, and relax on the beach.

Day 10-11 Ruaha River/Iringa (2B,2L,2D) - Ferry to Dar Es Salaam. Continue to the Ruaha River in Ruaha National Park.

Day 12-14 Lake Malawi (3B,3L,3D) - Relax on the shores of "the lake of stars", visit various lakeside camps. Option to go for walks, snorkeling, village tours, fishing trip.

Day 15-17 Lilongwe/Chipata/Lusaka (3B,3L,3D) - Camp on a private game farm. Option to visit bustling craft stalls and markets.

Day 18-20 Livingstone (3B,L) - Ferry crossing to Zambia. Option to visit Victoria Falls, and enjoy white-water rafting, canoeing, elephant-back safari, fly over the falls, and much more!

Day 21-24 Chobe River/Nata/Polokwane (4B,4L,4D) - Option to enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River or game drive in open safari vehicle in Chobe National Park. In Nata, watch the elephants drink from the camp's watering hole at night. Explore Polokwane Game Reserve and look out for White Rhinos.

Day 25-26 Kruger National Park (2B,2L,2D) - Spot the "Big 5" during a full-day game drive in our overland vehicle. Conservation walk, option to visit the Shangaan people in their village.

Day 27 Johannesburg (B,L) - Optional excursion to Soweto or the Apartheid Museum.

Day 28 Johannesburg (B) - Depart at any time.
