Day 1 Cape Town - Arrive at any time.
Days 2-5 Gariep River/Fish River Canyon/Namib Desert (4B,4L,4D) - Enjoy the sunset at Fish River Canyon. Explore Sossusvlei Dunes, climbing the breathtaking Dune 45. Optional canoe ride at the scenic Gariep River.
Days 6-10 Swakopmund/Damaraland/Etosha National Park (4B,4L,3D) - Various game drives in Etosha in own vehicle. Options to sand-board, go on a dolphin cruise, or to explore historical Swakopmund.
Days 11-14 Waterberg Plateau/Windhoek/Kalahari/Maun (4B,3L,3D) - Optional forest walk in Waterberg Plateau Game Park. Stop over in Kalahari desert, and choose to learn survival skills from the locals.
Days 15-16 Okavango Delta (2B,2L,2D) - Enjoy game walks, traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions and birding on our two nights bushcamping. Learn the ways of the bush from your local polers.
Days 17-18 Gweta/Chobe River (2B,2L,2D) - Camp under ancient baobab trees, optional visit to the salt pans of Makgadikgadi. Option to embark on a boat cruise on the Chobe River or game drive in open safari vehicle in Chobe National Park.
Days 19-24 Livingstone/Lusaka/Chipata (6B,3L,2D) - Ferry crossing to Zambia. Camp on a private game farm. Option to visit Victoria Falls, and enjoy white-water rafting, canoeing, elephant-back safari and perhaps fly over the falls!
Days 25-28 Lake Malawi (4B,4L,4D) - Relax on the shores of 'the lake of stars,' visit various lakeside camps. Option to go for walks, snorkelling, village tours, fishing trip.
Days 29-30 Iringa/Dar es Salaam (2B,2L,2D) - Climb out of the Great Rift Valley, view vast tea plantations, descend down to the Indian Ocean.
Days 31-34 Zanzibar (4B) - Explore Stone Town, guided tour of a spice plantation. Option to visit museums, historical sites, markets, and enjoy the beach and marine activities like snorkelling, scuba diving, and swimming.
Days 35-36 Korogwe/Arusha (2B,2L,2D) - Ferry to Dar es Salaam. Catch your first glimpse of the Kilimanjaro. Option to visit craft markets.
Days 37-39 Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Crater/Arusha (3B,3L,3D) - Change over to 4x4 safari vehicles, daily game drives.
Day 40 Nairobi (B,L) - Travel through the lands of the Masai people to Nairobi, where the tour ends upon arrival in the late afternoon.
