Itinerary
Day 1 Cape Town - Arrive at any time.
Day 2-4 Lambert's Bay (Gariep River) / Fish River Canyon (Seeheim Area) (3B) - Relax, swim or take a ride in a canoe at the Gariep River. Enjoy the beauty of the Fish River Canyon.
Day 5-6 Namib Desert (2B,2D) - Option to climb up breathtaking Dune 45. Visit to Sossusvlei Dunes and Sesriem Canyon.
Day 7-8 Swakopmund (B) - Explore the historical town of Swakopmund. Choose among sand boarding, a dolphin cruise, sky diving, quad biking, a Living Desert tour or much more as optional activities.
Day 9-11 Otjiwarongo / Etosha National Park (B) - Spend the evening in this stunning region after a beautiful drive through the desert. Game drive in own touring vehicle. Option to go on an open safari vehicle game drive.
Day 12-13 Windhoek / Kalahari (Ghanzi) (B) - Option to explore Windhoek. Visit the Kalahari desert. Learn fascinating survival skills by the local San Bushmen on an optional walk. Enjoy an optional traditional bushmen dancing in the evening.
Day 14-15 Maun/Okavango Delta (2B,L,D) - Preparation for our 1 night/2 day journey into the "Delta". Enjoy game walks, traditional mokoro excursions, birding and a sunset boat cruise in Maun. Learn the ways of the bush from your local polers. Option to take a scenic flight over the Delta.
Day 16-17 Gweta/Nata Area (2B,2D) - Guided village visit in Gweta. Choose from optional activities such as scenic flights, donkey cart village visit or embark on a salt pan trip in dry season.
Day 18 Chobe Area (B) - Option to embark on a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River or on an open safari vehicle game drive.
Day 19 Livingstone, Zambia (B,D) - Ferry crossing into Zambia. Option to visit Victoria Falls, enjoy white-water rafting, canoeing, elephant-back safari, fly over the falls, and much more! Farewell braai (BBQ) and drumming session.
Day 20 Livingstone (B) - Depart at any time.
