Itinerary
Day 1 Beijing (D) - Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer included and Beijing Duck welcome dinner.
Day 2 Beijing (B,L) - Visit to Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China with lunch and introductory language lesson.
Day 3 Beijing and Overnight Sleeper Train (B,L) - Explore the famed Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City with free time in the afternoon. Overnight soft sleeper train to Xi'an.
Day 4 Xi'an (B,D) - Tour of Xi'an including the Wild Goose Pagoda, Terracotta Warriors and Temple of Heaven. Traditional dinner this evening. Option to take a bike ride around the city walls and shopping.
Day 5 Hangzhou (B) - Fly to Hangzhou. Orientation walk of Hangzhou along the world famous west lake. Visit the Longjing plantation and learn about ancient tea production and taste some freshly brewed tea.
Day 6 Wuzhen Canal Town/Shanghai (B,L) - Visit Wuzhen ancient canal town where we explore and have lunch. Travel to Shanghai and take an orientation walk along the Bund.
Day 7 Shanghai (B,D) - Start the morning with Tai Chi on the Bund. Visit to Shanghai Museum and watch a Shanghai Acrobats show. Traditional Shanghai farewell dinner this evening.
Day 8 Shanghai (B) - Depart at any time.
